Very large with sharp edges, quite a unique shape, a calm and soothing yellow tone, and four protruding smaller crystals resembling a “X” going through the middle of the main crystal, this Sri Lankan Sapphire is far from the usual from this locale or any other. Also displaying striations on some of the faces and containing technically 6 terminations with the protruding crystals, this sapphire presents several characteristics not commonly seen in this material.
